The Missing Piece

​

A short piece of writing taking inspiration from Italo Calvino's Cosmicomics (1965). When I first read Cosmicomics I was enthralled by the characters and their boring humanness as they try to solve  fantastical problems. I tried to encapsule Calvino's whimsically scientific vocabulary choices along with a nostalgic longing throughout.
