Hi, I'm Alice! I'm a passionate storyteller with a theoretical understanding of narrative and character development. Player experience and learning outcomes are always at the center of my craft.
I am a Narrative Designer and Games Writer with a very rare and unique perspective: a background as a successful English Teacher. My deep understanding of narrative theory and learning allows me to craft stories that balance classic storytelling techniques with subversive twists, alongside the theory of how we learn. This specialised foundation allows me to design experiences that entertain and engage players on a meaningful level.
I’ve had the privilege of working with a range of studios creating narratives for AAA, mobile, indie, and tabletop games. I specialise in creating compelling characters, crafting entertaining and emotional dialogue, and producing immersive worldbuilding that captivates players.
